However, “Beauty” then spends a significant amount of time describing Beauty’s interactions with the Beast, how she comes to slowly care for him, why he lets her go even at the risk of his own life, and why she has the realization at the end that she truly loves him. The oldest is the dark haired mysterious type and the second is doey with the sunshine just bursting out of her. Fairytale lovers of all ages.
I had read a number of interpretations of the fairy tale and this interpretation was good but was a drag at some points. Other books in this series.

Except where in that one they’d been used to show an at first acrimonious, then slowly becoming warm, then slowly becoming love in this book they’re just Belle Trade Paperback Sadly, it is never explained why. She was no more than nine years old—which would have made me seven and Celeste eleven, just so you know where we are.
Princess of the Silver Woods. No warning, no indication. However, I loved the addition bellle the Heartwood Tree and the role it plays in their relationship.
